We were so happy to see that Alessandra would be our trip leader for the day (we had just met her on another tour), and we immediately knew we were in good hands. Allesandra was especially wonderful with a beautiful vibe and a friendly spirit. The food that we sampled was all hot & delicious! Excellent value for the price. Would definitely recommend this trip to my friends and we would take the food tour again if Allesandra was the guide.”

“Visited Trani harbor and cathedral. Home of the pope for 100 years. We were not shown the interior of the cathedral, just the basement rooms. Went to the Castel del Monte. A must see activity. Learned about the history of the area. Nice trip to see the Puglia countryside. Tour guide/driver spent a lot of time talking about how the world politics was bad and how much he disliked tourists in general. I politely declined to ask him to stop. It wasn’t appropriate conversation for a visit to the highlight of the region.”

“The trulli are very interesting, but we would have liked to see one of the originals inside. The guided tour was good but very fast, the tour was supposedly 5 hours long, and ended 1 hour early. It would be good if it included a typical meal, or for the guide to accompany us”

“Three things I wish I knew about this tour before signing up: 1) The minibus we rode in didn't have air conditioning but lots of fans. It was very warm out -- and in the van. 2) We took the option with a guided tour. They outsourced the tour in Alberebello to another agency. While was the guide was good, the group was much larger than our group from the tiny, warm van. They also had a lot of people join us in Matera. 3) The pickup area was shared by many companies and it was hard to know which tour company was ours. Eventually a gentlemen with no company…”
